Could mediocrity without luck survive?

A dashingly good looking man, from New Jersey, formerly from a lower-middle class family? with dedicated parents and siblings, with college education, and a start at modelling occupation, was, or is, smart enough to have realized that in modelling jobs that there was intellectuality missing from the work in its substance, so ends up floating in the world picking whatever little money from his seemingly fashionable life as a street photographer cum a day performer, sleeping on a rooftop of a east Manhattan apartment. He seems quite sociable and bold enough to talk to stranger models in the hope of getting a shoot with them or mediating to make them more professional models. He knows why and where he has ended up being where he was at the time of the production of this film. Therefore, he may not be too dumb; he seems just in the middle range in terms of his intelligence and world knowledge. I do not know whether the director had wished to just a non-stereotypical homelessness case, but the film has shown, as with most things, that there is a cline to homeless as well. And most of all, it has shown that with a lack of good luck in life, a person without an inherited wealth, can be forced into an unstable life of sleeping outside, even with a college degree, from the middle class, with certain friends, can lead a harsh-seeming life, to which, though, this man seems to have accustomed himself quite well with hollow positivity with a grain of poignancy. His acceptance of his situation does seem to have come from good self-analysis, yet he does not want to change his present life, so he seems to go on being stuck there unless he looses his health or he gets busted. This is a record of a certain living with a choice, although somewhat misfortunately, yet, we must wonder that if this could happen to any college graduate these days, with mediocre abilities with honesty and sincerity to friends. Yes, with a lack of good luck, it could happen to almost anyone, unless, you have a family wealth to be provided with. Is this a healthy society this way? No, according to the traditional standards, but if one chooses to stay in homelessness without many other choice, then we have to let one try as long as one wishes to, and see the end result.
